In cold mode, after a brief stint in the freezer, Calmy reduces swelling and soothes the weakened perineum, episiotomy or C-section scars, as well as hemorrhoids. For breastfeeding mothers, it also helps calm breasts in cases of engorgement or cracked nipples.

In hot mode, after a few seconds in the microwave or a bain-marie, it provides gentle warmth that relaxes muscles, relieves cramps, postpartum contractions, and menstrual pain, while promoting milk production.
